We believe that the truths of life can unfold over a cup of coffee and that we can be awakened to the things that matter most whilst lingering at the table with loved ones.
We're so proud to have launched our "Brave Conversations Over Coffee" series / program as an extension of putting the core of what we most deeply believe into practice.
If you're thinking, "ok, we're here lingering, now what?" - we wanted to offer one of our favorite questions for you to pose to those around your table. We've heard from our Unimatic family members that often their discussion starts by talking about the legacy of the Unimatic in the middle of their table but we wanted to offer a more concrete "to do" for you all. A simple question that we love asking during "Brave Conversations Over Coffee" is:
In this moment what is one thing you are:
1) proud of 2) grateful for 3) excited about
We believe this question is a better version of "how are you?" - in that simple to understand, and is a safe way to invite loved ones to share a little more deeply with you. You walk away with a snapshot of the person's life in that moment and it boosts their mood and confidence to be seen and heard whilst talking about the most important things happening for them right now.
We also find that it's important to go first. If you take the pressure off by having the bravery to start, it makes it safer for others to follow along. So, in the spirit of practicing what we preach, here is our answer:
This year, we are:
1) proud of: launching Unimatic University and watching our students transform through our curriculum!
2) grateful for: "Coffee for All" launching on Netflix and sharing our story with the entire WORLD! :) And for now having found Unimatics new homes/families on six continents! It’s such a privilege to share our mission, inspiration and legacy!
3) excited about: hosting/facilitating more "Brave Conversations Over Coffee" for groups of all kinds.
Your turn! Go perk and pour some Unimatic coffee and give it a try! And let us know how it goes,
